Gifted Scholars Intl Schs was founded by Mrs David Chioma Purity in the year 2 2013 with one cradle in creche and one minder.
We started at No F56 Nwangene Street Housing Estate Fegge Onitsha, and we are still there to date.
Our name then was 'Happy Child Kindergarten '
In 2015, we crept into nursery sections with about 35 pupils in a whole and 4 teachers. That was the year we got our CAC and then got our name as Gifted Scholars International Schools.
In 2017, we introduced basic classes with about a hundred and ten pupils and 9 teachers.
We were able to make new uniforms to differentiate the nursery pupils from the basic pupils. We also introduced a new curriculum. We succeeded in creating new classes to accommodate new pupils by putting up some other structures within the compound.
We encountered the challenge of funding. But we overcame by His grace.
The school has celebrated 10 years of graduating the nursery pupils to basic classes and the basic pupils to secondary schools.
We have engaged our pupils in some traditional days and prize giving wards.
We also have been engaged in some external quiz competitions, and we are proud to say that our pupils emerged in the front rolls of the competitions.
We had our first head mistress in 2017 when we started the primary sections, and she is still with us to date, Mrs Obi Adaku Agnes.
Our school motto is NURTURING PROMISING LEADERS.
This is about fostering an environment where individuals can thrive, innovate, and grow. At the heart of this leadership evolution is the recognition of emerging leaders. Those individuals who, even in their early stages, exhibit the promise and potentials to guide organizations into the future.
Gifted Scholars International Schools is spirited on holistic child development, fostering a love for learning and building a strong foundation for future success. We also recognize that every child is unique and learns at their own pace. We also know that every child has varied abilities, interests, and learning styles.
The goal is to help each child reach their full potential.
We say that learning is fun in Gifted Scholars International Schools.
